The Moon Valley is located in the Cordillera de la Sal mountain range, approximately 13 km from San Pedro de Atacama, in northern Chile. It is part of the Los Flamencos National Reserve.

Our tour to the Valley of the Moon includes round-trip transportation from San Pedro, a certified guide, and stops at key sites such as Duna Mayor, the Amphitheater, and Las Tres Marías. Park entrance fees are not included.

tour?
If you want to enjoy the place with few people and cool weather, the ideal would be to go early in the morning.
If you want to see how the sunlight colors the rock formations in shades of red, orange, and gold that change every minute, the ideal time to go would be after 2:00 PM, depending on the season.
